Wide and shallow, with a rim that rolls out and over, the sort of bowl that gets used for everything and put away nowhere.
The inside is where it happens: a white glaze that breaks into a fine spray of speckle running out from the centre, like something seen through frosted glass, with a band of soft yellow where it thins towards the edge. The rim is dipped a clean, chalky pink that stops exactly where it ought to.
Stamped underneath.
