Thrown as a taper, wide at the foot and drawn in towards the mouth, with a single round ball set at the rim. It is not a handle you put a finger through, it is a handle you hold the whole pot by, and it changes how the thing sits in the hand entirely.
The glaze reads like a coastline seen end on. A near black at the lip, flecked with gold where it pooled thickest. Then a band of deep blue that breaks and speckles as it falls. Then a long run of cream, streaked fine all the way down. The bottom third is left raw, warm speckled clay, freckled with iron.
None of those bands were drawn on. They are what the glaze did on the way down.
