Fluted bowl, sea-glass glaze
Soft greens and blues drifting over a fluted body, with the rim gone rust-dark.
Sold, in someone’s home
One of one · Nº 5
A deep, round bowl with the sides gently fluted, you feel it before you see it, a soft scallop under the fingers.
The glaze is the reason this one stayed: a mottled blue-green that drifts paler and denser in patches, like a piece of sea glass that has been in the water a long time. It breaks rust-brown along the rim where it ran thin over the edge, and there is a band of dusty violet low down where the outside glaze meets the inside.
Inside, a speckled cream, finely streaked from rim to well.
