Ball-handled vase, blush glaze

The same taper and the same round ball at the rim as its darker sister, thrown a little squatter and wider in the foot.

Where that one bands, this one blooms. A pale grey white over the speckled clay, with a drift of dusty pink coming through on one side like colour rising into a cheek. The rim is dipped a clean sweet pink, and the ball is glazed to match, so the two pink notes hold the whole pot together.

The speckle in the clay shows through everywhere, which keeps it from being a sweet thing.
